I love controversy. No big one there. But how many things do I do in a day that I do every single would you consider an addiction.
Work, Thinking, Walking, Watching TV, Video Games, Talking to Friends and the like. How many of those are addiction? I do them everyday and by your definition I'm addicted to them. Should I start a support group for people that see there friends everyday or go to work everyday?
Lesser addiction doesn't exist check the any psychology book and you'll find the definition of addiction to be very clear.

lol - CSc Majors... That aside - i suppose if depends on how you define 'addiction'. Yes there are some people who are completely overcome with a need to watch it all the time... Whose idea of a fun friday night is sitting at home alone watching a 'movie'. But there is a much 'lesser' level of addiction. If you happen to mention that 2 weeks without porn is a good thing for you... how is that not an addiction? ANY time you feel like you need something - is it not an addiction? (Admittedly - there are some positive addictions (such as food/water... (i'm not sure if sleep counts? I always feel like i need it... it just seems like such a waste of time))

But really - if when you watch porn - you get ANYTHING out of it. Any feelings whatsoever. and you feel a need to watch it - how is that not really an addiction?

Take for instance a social smoker - when out at the bar - they light up. The say they're not addicted to smoking b/c they don't smoke a pack a day. BUT - they still feel a need to light up at the bar - so is it not some level of addiction?

Debates of health / morals aside - be aware of what influences your decisions. If you feel a 'need' for something - is it really a positive thing to feed that need, rather than fight it?

What will influence your character more? feeding a desire - or having the will power to fight it?

(And btw - sorry for posting anonymously - sometimes its easier to speak your mind when you aren't afraid of how your opinion is received. Mainly i just wanted to challenge you with something that can be considered controversial to even talk about)

Just so you know. I only stopped for a bet and also because Korean porn is probably the worst porn out there. And to get addicted to porn you must be the biggest loser in the world. Which I'm sure I'm int eh running for but trailing far behind alot of people. (Mainly Computer Science Majors, HAHA had to say it)
